So Behind!

Eek, looks like a lot of us are way behind on posting! Luckily, I have finished Tom Sawyer as of now, but I'll hold off on my final review of the book until my last post, which will be coming Tuesday or Wednesday.

Okay, so leaving off where I finished in my last post, I personally think that the boys were stupid to go off and pretend to be "pirates". They may have thought of the reactions of their family and friends, but not thoroughly enough. I mean, they took pride in the fact that they were being missed and cried over, but didn't realize how it must have felt for everyone else thinking that they were dead. It makes me wonder if Joe or Huck ever felt guilty about what they'd done. Does anyone else agree? Or am I taking it too seriously?
